Great Northern Services (GNS) announces the publication of their 2014 Annual Report. View it online at www.gnservices.org
“This past year, Great Northern was involved in projects all over Siskiyou County,” says GNS Executive Director, Bonnie Kubowitz.
The report features GNS program accomplishments, and makes references to the impact of the Boles Fire on the non-profit who lost their offices and food warehouse in the September 2014 disaster. “Even in our most troubled circumstances, we worked with people to see beyond obstacles, to tap the richness of our communities, and to build better lives. Optimism and determination has guided our work for over 35 years”, added Kubowitz.
The 501(c)(3) programs include services for income qualified individuals and families: Energy Assistance, Weatherization, Emergency Food, Business Loans and Community Services.
