We are grateful to announce a $2,000 award from Pacific Power Foundation in support of their Emergency Food Distribution Program. The money will be used for the purpose of providing food to the eleven emergency food banks -with an emphasis on providing more protein rich foods- throughout Siskiyou County, along with fuel and vehicle maintenance for the delivery van. The GNC emergency food program along with a network of volunteers will deliver the food.
“The Foundation is pleased to be able to contribute to GNC’s efforts that help so many residents in our region” said Toby Freeman, Pacific Power Regional Community Manager. “We are very grateful for this support to our emergency food pantries,” said Renee Casterline, GNC’s Community Food Programs Manager.
